On March 24th, the LLC partnered with the Sacramento LGBT Community Center to host a health event at their Lavender Heights location. It is a mission within the LLC to ensure health access to not only our Latino community but also Latinos identifying within the LGBT community.
We hosted over 30 partners to promote health access within the community. Through this event, we were able to connect with over 70 community members, to provide blood pressure screenings, 9 HIV tests, 17 Flu, Covid-19, and MPox vaccines! The event was a success, and we give a special thank you to the Sacramento LGBT Center for their hard work!
